Section 21-4 Enforcement
21-4.01 Enforcement.
(a) Any person excluded from the Spokane Reservation by the Spokane Tribal Court who does not
promptly obey the order may be charged with contempt of court as provided in Section 1-8 of
this Code.
(b) Law Enforcement Officers shall also escort excluded persons off the Reservation, if necessary.
21-4.02 Federal Enforcement. The Spokane Tribal Court, at its discretion, may refer an exclusion case to the
Superintendent of the Spokane Indian Agency or to the United States Attorney for appropriate action.
Section 21-5 Petition for Relief
21-5.01 Petition for the Tribal Council for Relief.
(a) Any person(s) excluded under this Chapter must petition the Spokane Tribal Council for
permission to re-enter the Reservation.
(b) The Court shall not have the power to grant permission to re-enter the Reservation.
Section 21-6 Severability
21-6.01 Severability. If any provision of this Chapter or its application to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, the remainder of the Chapter or the application of the provisions to other persons or circumstances is
not affected.
