These licenses are available from the offices of Fisheries & Oceans Canada in Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet and the local Wildlife offices (Dept. of Environment) in most communities. A Convention on International Trades in Endangered Species (CITES) permit is also necessary to export animal products of endangered species, as listed by CITES, leaving Canada.
